For Jonas Valanciunas, the way the All-Star Game is organized is unfortunate.
If the voting was done per position, he may have a shot to make the game as a center. It would likely be Dwight Howard because of his name popularity, but at least Valanciunas might have a shot at making the team.
However, that’s not how it’s run.
The voting is split up into frontcourt and guards, which leaves Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan as the two Raptors front runners to make it into the All-Star Game once again. But that doesn’t bother Valanciunas, instead he works toward getting his other teammates into the game through the fan vote.
So, he came to the TSN offices last week with a bunch of the Itty Bitty Ballers from his Go Daddy campaign to ask you for an itty bitty favour: Vote Kyle and DeMar. Today is your last chance, because voting ends at midnight!
That’s not all, he’s also taken to his own Twitter to vote them in as well.
For Valanciunas, we’re sure he’ll enjoy his time off during the All-Star break. Maybe he’ll have some more time to get in the workshop and work on those Itty Bitty Ballers.
