Hockey players often get credit for being the toughest athletes around, but JJ Watt is seriously trying to change that.
Watt has had a busy couple weeks as he’s raised more than $29 million for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in just over a week since the Hurricane hit. On top of that, he’s been preparing for the first game of his NFL season and apparently he wasn’t letting anything stop him from playing.
Watt suffered what sounds like a pretty gruesome injury and came back into the game like it was nothing. In fact, the way he describes it, you’d think it was nothing.
Of course, if you are a big hockey fan and refuse to believe any athletes are tougher than hockey players, you could always use the fact that JJ Watt is a pretty talented hockey player as well.
Now it all makes sense.
