Jhonas Enroth's new pads are giant billboards

The Karjala Cup is an annual hockey tournament that takes place in Finland and consists of six teams.

This year’s tournament will feature Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland and will happen from November 8 until November 12.

Leading the way between the pipes for Sweden at this year’s tournament will be former NHL goalie Jhonas Enroth, who will be rocking some rather unusual pads when he takes the ice.

We know European hockey teams tend to go overboard when it comes to their in-game advertisements, but ads on goalie pads is an entirely new look for us. It’s definitely a nice way to earn some endorsement money, even if they aren’t the cleanest looking pads out there.
