There's more to our love for WWE legend Chris Jericho than the fact he's Canadian and loves hockey. Jericho is an incredibly talented wrestler, and an even more talented comedian. He may not officially be titled a comedian, but the guy is hilarious on the microphone. When Jericho cuts promos in the WWE, he has us dying on the floor laughing. He has a knack for making people laugh in very clever ways.
A bunch of the WWE superstars who appear in the show 'Total Divas' on Wednesday nights tweet along with the program, and an argument broke out online between Bulgarian wrestler Rusev and Renee Young during a scene where they were playing basketball.
Rusev claimed Young was surprisingly good at basketball for being a Canadian, and Young responded with the example of NBA legend Steve Nash on why Canadians are great basketball players.
Young made fun of Rusev Googling the population of Canada, but Rusev owned it...
That's when Canada's knight in shining armour Chris Jericho swooped in to save the day!
Then Rusev got real, and decided to site Andre the Giant as a great Bulgarian wrestler instead of attempting to argue he was great...
While Andre the Giant did come from Bulgarian and Polish ancestry, he was born and raised in France. We'll give you half points, Rusev, but you should have done more Googling on that one.
