Jason Grilli proves Blue Jays fandom runs deep in his family by recreating old photo

Jason Grilli has become a fan favourite among the Blue Jays community – a community his family has been part of for a long time.

If you were unaware his father, Steve Grilli, was a Toronto Blue Jay for an extremely short time. He made one appearance for the team and pitched 2.1 innings. Still no matter the amount of time he spent with the team, he still turned his whole family into fans. Earlier this year, Grilli posted a throwback picture of himself wearing Jays gear, but now he’s shown his father and grandfather in on the action too.

So that’s three generations of Blue Jays fans in the Grilli family, but it’s not stopping there. Earlier today, Grilli posted this photo of him passing on the tradition to his son.

All the more reason for Blue Jays fans to love Grilli and his enthusiastic attitude.
