The players at this year’s Pro Bowl have certainly made the weekend more entertaining than it has been in previous years. From players returning punts in sumo wrestler suits to kickers one-upping each other with ridiculously long field goals, we’ve seen just about everything so far this weekend.
Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry is known for his amazing speed and his hands, but he showed to the world on Saturday that he’s a pretty accurate passer as well.
Not only did he drain the shot from nearly 30-yards out with a football, but he managed to swish it. If there’s one athlete who can admire Landry’s skills, it’s Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who is without a doubt one of the greatest, if not the greatest, three-point shooters in the history of the NBA.
Well, Curry must have come across Landry’s play on Instagram before his team’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night, because right before halftime he drained this ridiculous bucket from mid-court.
Maybe the Dolphins will consider putting Landry in at quarterback every once in a while next season after this display of fantastic accuracy. He already plays pretty much every position for them on offence and special teams, so one more position on his resume wouldn’t hurt.
Landry. Curry. Three-point contest. Coming this summer (but not really).
