It was starting to look like Jaromir Jagr was never going to play another NHL game ever again, but that all changed on October 2, 2017, when the Calgary Flames signed the 45-year-old to a one-year contract. ​

While some teams were getting set to hit the ice for the first time this season on Wednesday evening, the Calgary Flames were busy introducing the newest member of the organization.
 

This season will be Jagr's 24th NHL campaign and it will most likely be his final season.
 

In 1,711 games, the five-time Art Ross Trophy winner has 765 goals, 1,149 assists and 1,914 points.
