Friday night, Jaromir Jagr bolstered an already rock-solid Hall of Fame case by passing the iconic Gordie Howe for most points after 40.
While Jagr isn't having the kind of season he had last year, he still has 39 points in 70 games and he's a plus 11. Not bad for a 45-year-old.
All that's left for Jagr to do is pass Gretzky on the all-time points list, but that will be difficult considering Jagr has another 950 points to go and 'Father Time' isn't slowing down.
Still, if Jagr continues playing, he's got a shot, and after passing Howe, he revealed his intentions to play into his 50s.
This isn't the first time Jagr has said he'll play into his 50s, but it's still important as it shows he truly doesn't want to leave the game just yet.
Although he's 45, Jagr keeps his body in tremendous shape so it's not crazy to think he could play into his 50s, either.
As the old saying goes, time will tell, but we're going with Jagr and not father time.
