J.J. Watt is recovering from surgery after he suffered a fracture in his leg during the Texans' Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs and is using crutches to hobble around, but you can bet he wasn’t going to pass up the oppourtunity to throw out the first pitch prior to the Astros and Dodgers squaring off in Game 3 of the World Series in Houston.
Behind the plate was Astros starter Dallas Keuchel. Although Watt didn’t have quite have the precision of the Astros ace, he still was able to deliver the ball from the mound while on one crutch and a fractured left foot.
Just a little outside.
Watt was a staple in the Houston community for his efforts in transporting food and necessities to the victims of Hurricane Harvey and spearheading a fundraising campaign that raised over $37 million.
