When you think about it, DeMarcus Cousins being traded to New Orleans couldn't have come at a better time.
With the NBA All-Star game being played in "The Big Easy" and Cousins finding out about the trade after the game, the timing was rather perfect.
In fact, just before answering questions with the media after the game, it looks like Cousins was notified of the trade.
Judging by DeMarcus' first answer and the smile on his face when asked about New Orleans, it's probably safe to assume that was the moment he learned about the trade.
In terms of it being perfect timing, however, that might not be the case, as displayed by DeMarcus' manager.
