NBA fans have had less than a day to digest the trade that rocked the world Sunday night, but in all honesty fans probably only needed less than a minute to digest it and come to the conclusion that the Pelicans pulled off the heist of the century.
Cousins joins All-Star game MVP Anthony Davis in New Orleans to form one of the scariest front courts the sport has ever seen while the Kings front office tries to restock and rebuild a franchise that hasn't made the playoffs since the 2005-06 season.
While the trade elicited some incredible reactions, there wasn't one that summed up how the majority of fans felt about it quite like this tweet from former King Isaiah Thomas.
As we proved, Thomas is right, the Kings and Pelicans in NBA 2K didn't want any part of this deal.
Thomas wasn't the only NBA player that reacted to the trade, either.
New Orleans' first game after the All-Star break is in Houston on February 23rd and they'll enter post-All-Star game play 2.5 games back of the Nuggets for the final playoff spot in the West.
