What a night it was for Jumbo Joe!
On a night that marked his 900th game with the San Jose Sharks, Joe Thornton notched his 1,000th career assist late in the 3rd period against the Winnipeg Jets. The centreman becomes the 13th player to reach the 1,000 helper mark.
To help him celebrate, Sharks' fans and hockey faithful alike took to all different forms of social media to congratulate Thornton on the career milestone.
