Near the end of the game, Washington had a few glorious opportunities to tie the game and send it to overtime. Bodies piled up in the front of the net as the puck went back and forth between a mixture of skates and sticks, but somehow Marc-Andre Fleury never lost sight of the puck.

It started off lightly with two players from each team gathered right outside Fleury’s crease. As each second ticked off the clock, more bodies made their way to the front of the net.

Somehow, Fleury managed to stop every puck that was fired at him during that sequence, and helped his team hold on for the victory.
