All-Star weekend in the NHL was fun for both fans and players for many different reasons.

For starters, from a fan's perspective, the skills competition is always fun to watch.  From the perspective of the players, though, having some time off and spending time with family and friends from other teams is what makes the weekend fun.

During media day, a lot of players spent time with one of their friends who isn't in the NHL anymore, Ilya Bryzgalov, as he was doing some reporting for The Players' Tribune, and on Tuesday, Bryz officially filed his hilarious report on how he saved the All-Star game.

If anyone knows how boring hockey questions are, it's a former hockey player, so we trust Bryz's judgement in asking the tough and funny questions.

That being said, we won't take a stab at answering that math question because we don't want to get called out for getting the answer wrong.

The NHL is better with Bryz involved, and we thank The Players' Tribune for finding a way to get him involved in the funnest weekend of the season.
