If the Edmonton Oilers' third period collapse in Game 5 was the stuff of nightmares, than their scoring outburst in Game 6 must be absolute nirvana.
Sunday, the Oilers absolutely took it to the Anaheim Ducks, launching five goals past them in the opening period before adding a sixth and seventh goal in the second. Suffice it to say, but hockey fans, media members and even former players on Twitter were quite surprised with the Oilers performance, sharing their disbelief one tweet at a time.
One would imagine that the Oilers lead should be safe...but then again, when it comes to Stanley Cup Playoffs hockey, you never know.
