One thing that people love on the internet is the opportunity to influence the name of basically any team, organization or just inanimate object.
Perhaps the most popular example of this was Boaty McBoatFace, a name that has been transferred to many other contests. The latest example of this didn’t even offer an option to suggest names, but the ECHL team that plans to move to Portland, Maine did offer a glimpse at what they’ve narrowed their team names down to and are letting fans vote from those options.
One of them stood out to many hockey fans, because it’s pretty bizarre – which is why they like it. One of these things is not like the others.
