Sidney Crosby is the talk of the town after Game 5, but there are two different perspectives on his performance.
On one side, he was brilliant. With three assists in the game and looking dominant throughout, it was a statement game from the Penguins captain and the man most still consider to be the best player in the world. Then there’s the other side.
Of course, Crosby has a lot of haters out there and they’re just a small portion of all the people taking about the Subban head slam and the water bottle throw.
Of course, the people that don’t like Crosby were never going to believe him, but this goes beyond that. With video evidence and an overhand throw, many people are not believing his explanation and are calling for suspensions. This is what Crosby had to say on the incident.
Many fans aren’t buying it.
Crosby did seem to go to the refs after throwing it and explain his case, but realistically, judging by the rule book we’re not sure that matters. It will be interesting to see if the NHL hands down any extra penalty to the game’s best player.
