For those who thought the legend of 'Dart Guy' couldn't grow anymore before Monday night's game, you were completely wrong.
With the man himself in attendance, the Leafs came back to defeat the Capitals 4-3 in overtime to take a 2-1 series lead.
Here are the facts, the Leafs are 2-0 this postseason when Dart Guy is at a game, and he was in attendance for Auston Matthews' first career playoff goal, so it's understandable for some fans to think he could be a good luck charm along with a rallying symbol.
Either way, the bottom line is he Jason Maslakow isn't going away any time soon. In fact, if anything his story is only going to get bigger and better from this point on, and this fan-made video proves that:
'Dart Guy' up in the rafters. Who would have thought they'd live to see the day.
While the fans seemed to love the video, the most important thing is Dart Guy loved it, too.
Game 4 goes Wednesday night in Toronto and fans will be anxious to see if Dart Guy shows up again, which we imagine he will.
For now, though, he's continuing to enjoy his 15 minutes of fame.
