For a long time, PK Subban showed his support for the Montreal Children’s Hospital, at one point pledging $10 million to the care centre while he still played for the Montreal Canadiens.
Since being traded to Nashville, he has obviously kept his connection with the organization and its patients, and that was never more evident than last night. While PK Subban is in the Stanley Cup Final with the Nashville Predators, the hospital was having it’s Ball for the Children and there was no mistaking who they’re cheering for.
The number $10 million is what gets shared around a lot, but when you see PK interact with the Children and moments like this where the team he plays for really has no impact on their connection with them, it warms your heart a little.
We’re sure he’ll be back there this summer, with or without the Stanley Cup.
