Sometimes you just have to live for the laugh - even if you're being paid millions of dollars to do the opposite.
Tim Hardaway Jr. saw the chance to make a timely joke and didn't hesitate. With the Knicks leading the Raptors by 10 and under 20 seconds remaining, the game official slipped and took a tumble just beside where Serge Ibaka was squaring up to take a three pointer.
Hardaway, supposedly responsible for guarding Ibaka, decided he'd rather make a joke by calling the official "safe!" the same way an second base umpire would react to a base-stealer sliding in before the tag.
Hardaway likely wouldn't have made the joke if the game were closer or there were more time on the clock, but who knows? Anything for a good laugh.
