"Take that for data."
After losing 96-82 to the Spurs to go behind 2-0 in their first round series, Grizzlies head coach David Fizdale felt like he had a message he needed to get off of his chest in the post-game press conference. In a gutsy move, Fizdale put the game's officiating into question, highlighting the fact that Kawhi Leonard was handed more free throw opportunities than the Grizzlies entire squad.
For those counting at home, Leonard shot 19 free throws, with the Spurs shooting 32 in total, while the Grizzlies had all of 15. With Memphis losing by 14, you can see why Fizdale lost his cool after the game.
Either way, Fizdale can probably expect some sort of fine for his comments.
