On Saturday night in Las Vegas, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather went toe-to-toe at T-Mobile Arena in an epic boxing match titled “The Biggest Fight in Combat Sports History.” Some fans were expecting to be let down by the fight, but were greatly surprised by how competitive and entertaining it was.
Of course, T-Mobile Arena is also the new home of the Vegas Golden Knights, and it appears whoever runs the @GoldenKnights Twitter account was shocked when they saw the big crowds forming in front of the arena Saturday. They were so shocked; they felt the need to let fans know the team’s game wasn’t for another month!
Retired hockey great John LeClair was in attendance at the game, and could feel how great the venue would be for hockey.
They added the two fighters records in the arena, along with their current record.
