Golden Knights take shot at Red Wings ahead of first ever meeting Friday night

The St. Louis Blues lost on Thursday night and their loss was another team's because there's only one undefeated team left in the West.

Yes, the Vegas Golden Knights are undefeated and they made history earlier this week by becoming the first expansion team ever to start a season 3-0.

Friday night, they'll try and extend their winning streak to four games as the Red Wings come to town, and ahead of their first ever meeting, the Golden Knights took a little shot at the Wings on Twitter while promoting the game.

Shots fired and it's totally factual as Detroit's playoff streak (25 straight seasons) ended during their 2016-17 campaign.

This season, though, the Wings are off to a solid start (3-1-1) and they'll try and go down in the history books as the first team to hand the Golden Knights a loss.
