The 2017 Home Run Derby is less than an hour away and baseball fans can’t wait for the show to begin.
This year’s tournament consists Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez, Giancarlo Stanton, Justin Bour, Cody Bellinger, Charlie Blackmon, Mike Moustakas and Miguel Sano, with Judge and Stanton the favourites to come out on top.
On Monday, Sanchez unveiled the special Kraken-themed bats he had customized for this year’s Home Run Derby and they’re pretty sweet.
The 24-year-old Yankees catcher is known as ‘The Kraken’, so it’s obvious where he got the influence for these custom bats.
It would be pretty awesome if this trend started to pick up around the league until every hitter was using a customized bat.
