Back in January, Josh Donaldson appeared on the big screen, and for once, he wasn't playing baseball.
Instead, he was guest starring in the hit show 'Vikings,' and his performance was actually pretty good.
We're not sure if Mets ace Noah Syndergaard watched Donaldson's cameo, but he might want to as he'll be making a cameo on the hit show 'Game of Thrones,' as per The New York Post.
Friday, Syndergaard took to Twitter to confirm he'll be on the show this season, and he's pretty excited about it.
Obviously any athlete that gets a chance to do some acting would be excited, but Syndergaard is also a huge 'Game of Thrones' fan, so we imagine he's that much more excited to be on the show.
Wondering how big of a GOT fan Syndergaard is? Here was his reaction to the season finale in which Jon Snow was killed, via Cut4:
Refusing to believe his eyes, Syndergaard called his mom. Unlike most characters on the show, she is still alive.
“Is it true?” he whimpered.
“Yeah, it’s true,” replied Heidi Syndergaard. “Tomorrow should be a national holiday. You need to dedicate your pitching performance to those fallen at the Wall.”
We can't wait to see Noah's appearance on the show, and who knows, maybe it will lead to him playing his true character of 'Thor' in an upcoming movie.
