The NHL is the best hockey league in the world, and that's a fact that will shouldn't ever be disputed.
That being said, that doesn't mean there isn't NHL talent in the other leagues around the world.
Everyone knows about the skill in the KHL with guys like Pavel Datsyuk and Ilya Kovalchuk, but the Swiss League also has some good former NHL players, like Nathan Gerbe for example.
The former Sabre and Hurricane was always skilled (remember that between the legs goal he scored), but after a decent little NHL career, Gerbe decided to take his talents to Geneve-Servette of the Swiss A League.
In his team's most recent game against EHC Kloten, Gerbe reminded the hockey world that he most certainly still has it with a ridiculous shootout goal.
In 11 games, Gerbe has 7 points, but we'll go out on a limb and say he won't score a nicer goal than this shootout marker all season.
