Jack Skille was selected 7th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and spent four seasons with the team before making stops in Florida, Columbus, Colorado and Vancouver.

This season, the 30-year-old Madison, Wisconsin native is playing his first season overseas in the KHL with HC Dinamo Minsk and he’s off to an impressive start. In just his first two games with his new club, Skille has already racked up four points and sits third on the team in points.

Skille didn’t waste much time finding the back of the net as he managed to snipe his first KHL goal in his first KHL game against Traktor Chelyabinsk earlier this week.

Just past the halfway mark of the opening period, Skille picked up the puck behind the net and walked out to score a beautiful goal despite having his back turned to the goalie.

It was certainly a memorable debut for the former NHL first round draft pick as his goal ended up being the eventual game-winning goal as HC Dinamo Minsk shutout their opponent 3-0.

In 368 NHL games, Skille scored 43 goals and added 41 assists for 84 points.
