Skellefteå AIK and HV71 went head-to-head in Swedish Hockey League (SHL) action on Thursday night.

HV71 scored the first goal of the game, but Skellefteå AIK responded with two goals in the opening period and a third goal early on in the second frame. After HV71 got back in the game shortly after with their second goal of the game, Skellefteå AIK managed to ruin HV71's momentum by scoring a very odd goal.

The goal came courtesy of former Montreal Canadiens prospect Bud Holloway, who took the line 'use your head' literally in this situation. The goal was Holloway's first of the season and helped lead Skellefteå AIK to a 6-2 victory.

Holloway was selected 86th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, but only ended up playing one game in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens in the 2015-16 season.
