Thursday, the NFL season kicked off with the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. Things didn't go according to plan for the Super Bowl champs, with the Chiefs trouncing the Patriots in the 4th quarter, defeating them 42-27 at Gillette Stadium. We learned two things during the season opener: The Patriots defence is looking pretty shaky and despite the popularity of the 28-3 meme, people still enjoy watching Tom Brady lose.
The Tom Brady joke-a-thon continued well into the night, and by Friday morning, a new meme was born. Ladies and gentleman...Stunned Tom Brady.
We really thought that people would have learned by now that you should never make fun of the Patriots until the season is officially done and dusted. Because if any franchise has proven that they are capable of bouncing back and winning a title...it's the Patriots.
