If Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather eventually meet in the ring or octagon, Friday will be looked back on as a monumental day on the path to the fight everyone wants to see.
While on "The Herd," Dana White talked about a potential McGregor/Mayweather fight, and he ended up making an offer to Floyd to make the fight happen.
Seems pretty fair, right? Both guys would make the same amount of money for the fight and then the pay-per-view money would be worked out later.
Well, while many fight fans out there may think the offer is a good one, Mayweather feels very differently, as evidenced by his NSFW response to the offer via TMZ Sports:
So, it's safe to say Dana is going to have to do a lot better than his original offer in order to make this fight happen.
Earlier this week, Mayweather revealed how much money McGregor turned down when initial talks for the fight were happening.
Truth is, ever since the speculation for this fight started, the only thing holding it back from happening has been money. Everyone knows how much both competitors love making money, so until a deal that is fair for both parties is decided in, expect more money and trash talk between the two.
