The Columbus Blue Jackets struggled mightily in the first two games of their series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but based on Game 3, a trip home was all they needed.

Cam Atkinson opened the scoring 11 seconds in and added another shortly after to give the Blue Jackets an early 2-1 lead in the first period.

Ahead of the first intermission, the lead grew to 3-1 thanks to rookie Zach Werenski, but at first, it didn't appear as though that was the case thanks to a clever Marc-Andre Fleury.

Werenski's shot "disappeared" when it went into the net and the refs couldn't find the puck thanks to Fleury who tried to hide it in the hopes of the goal not counting we imagine.

Clearly Nick Foligno and the referees were very confused as to the whereabouts of the puck.

Everyone watching on television could see the puck was clearly in the net, but the goal actually had to be reviewed just to make sure it went in.

We love the gamesmanship from Fleury there.  Imagine if there was no video review, what would happen then?  The chances of that goal not counting probably would have been a lot higher if that was the case.

Fortunately for the Blue Jackets, though, the NHL uses video review and it gave them a 3-1 lead after the first period.
