With the NHL trade deadline looming, Marc-Andre Fleury's future is up in the air, with the Penguins reportedly listening to offers for the veteran netminder. If Fleury does get moved before the deadline, we certainly hope it's after the Pens play their Stadium Series game, as the mask that he's is set to wear is an absolute beaut.
Enlisting the services of mask design extraordinaire Griff Airbrush, Fleury decided to feature images and names of a few of his favourite Penguins teammates from over the years, including Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, and Mario Lemieux.
Quite a unique way for Fleury to honour and say thanks to his teammates for playing so well in front of him over the years! Although we really dig this new mask, the Steelers football helmet design that Griff Airbrush made for Fleury for the Stadium Series back in 2014 is still our personal favourite.
