Saturday, Holly Neher became the first female quarterback at Hollywood Hills High School to throw a touchdown pass in a game, and she managed to do it on her very first pass.

During the fourth quarter of Hollywood Hill's loss to Hallandale High School, Neher, a 16-year-old high school junior, came in and proceeded to toss a perfect 42-yard pass on her first snap. Neher is the only girl on Hollywood Hill's 50-member varsity team, and only the second female football player in the school's 51-year history.

Speaking after the game with ABC News, Neher had a message for other kids out there looking to her for inspiration.

“I hope that they all see how small how I am and no matter what mindset or color, race, size, gender, you can do anything you want.” (Holly Neher, ABC News)

What an awesome way to make history.
