It's been nearly 30 years since "Major League" released in theaters, and yet the film still holds a special place in the hearts of baseball fans.
So when Charlie Sheen and his two Major League co-stars, Tom Berenger and Corbin Bernsen appeared in a reunion photo with one another, you probably would have expected fans to rejoice in the the return of some of their favourite characters in the franchise. Well, that's not what happened. Sunday, Sheen shared an image of the three co-stars recreating an iconic image from the film, and fans lost it. Not because of their excitement for the reunion, but because of how old the trio appeared to be.
It's a little odd that people were so shocked that the cast had aged, considering it's been nearly three decades since the release of the film. The reunion was actually a mash-up of two classic baseball films, as it took place in Iowa at the location of "the Field of Dreams," and included appearances from actual Major League Baseball players as well, including Ozzie Smith, Wade Boggs, Andre Dawson and Frank Thomas.
