Fans were blown away by Crosby’s positioning and hockey IQ on this last-minute goal
Sidney Crosby scores some goals that seem only possible coming from his stick. Time and time again, he comes through in the clutch and makes it look easy.
Whether it’s splitting defenders and roofing a ridiculous backhand or falling over while shooting the puck, he always has a knack for the net. Last night, with less than a minute remaining in the Penguins game against the Rangers, Crosby struck again. This is where he scored from last night.
From a position where it didn’t seem possible (See photo above), Sidney Crosby scored a goal to send the game to overtime where the Penguins eventually won (Watch here).
Not only does Crosby wait for Kevin Shattenkirk to touch the puck to negate what would have been a blown whistle, but look at where he was when he scores this goal. Some people call it luck. Some people have never even considered trying to do this. Some people realize that Sidney Crosby seems to make plays like this every year.
