We’re now less than 24 hours away from the Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather superfight and most of the attention from the sports world is on the two fighters right now.
Just like fans do after big trades and signings, someone took a deep trip down Conor McGregor’s Twitter timeline and found a specific old tweet from two and a half years ago that has now gone viral once again.
McGregor sent out the tweet shortly after Floyd Mayweather defeated Manny Pacquiao back on May 2, 2015, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and many people are pointing out the fact that McGregor said himself that “boxing is not the style of fighting to stop him”.
Clearly The Notorious doesn’t exactly feel the same anymore, as he’s done nothing but take shots at Mayweather and his camo for more than half a year.
We’ll just have to wait and see if 2017 Conor McGregor can prove 2015 Conor McGregor wrong.
