With the Nashville Predators advancing to the Stanley Cup Final, one topic on a lot of people's minds in the hockey world Monday night was P.K. Subban. Yes, in Subban’s very first season with the Preds, he managed to do something he hadn't done with the Canadiens: advance to the finals.
Back in June of 2016, just after Subban was traded, the Montreal Canadiens Twitter account tweeted a short farewell message, which just happened to be a quote from Habs’ general manager Marc Bergevin.
The tweet was simply a press conference quote at the time, but now that Subban has advanced to the Stanley Cup Final, hockey fans have gone into the Twitter archives, found the tweet, and are RTing and commenting on it like crazy.
