The NBA offseason has been absolutely insane.
Wednesday, the Clippers traded Chris Paul to the Rockets, but the madness began well before Wednesday.
On draft night, the Timberwolves shook the basketball universe by acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Bulls.
Thursday, Minnesota introduced their newest player in front of a ton of fans and media members at the Mall of America.
During the introductory press conference, Butler was asked about the shots being fired his way about his leadership and character.
Rather than shying away from the criticism, Butler shouldered the blame and invited any critics who have something to say to him to call him.
In other words, Butler gave out his cell number to the world.
That has to be one of the greatest moments at an introductory press conference ever, right?
For those wondering, right now you can't leave Butler a message as his mailbox is full.
You can, however, text him and people have been blowing up his phone with a variety of texts.
As you can see, though, the iMessages aren't delivering, but still, the man gave out his phone number.
Safe to say he can deal with the critics and he invites the hate.
For his sake and the sake of the Timberwolves, we hope the criticism is non-existent in his first season in Minnesota.
