Football is such a violent sport, but the Pro Bowl is the complete opposite. The NFL's All-Star game features the best the sport has to offer, but the game itself is far from a regular game, and that's perfectly understandable.
No player wants to suffer an injury in a meaningless game, so there aren't many big hits and most of the time players aren't even taken to the ground in an effort to avoid injuries.
That being said, when a fan runs onto the field, all bets are off. This guy found that out the hard way Sunday night during the Pro Bowl as Cowboys' All-Pro running back Ezekiel Elliott took matters into his own hands and tackled the fan.
Not the biggest hit, but Elliott's form was perfect, as he pointed out to the world on Instagram after the game.
Clearly Elliott had a wonderful experience at his first Pro Bowl, and his tackle may have actually inspired a competition we guarantee a lot of people would want to watch.
Next year, during the Skills Competition, the NFL should introduce the "Fan Tackle." Players would get the opportunity to rock fans who would be well protected of course, and the biggest hit wins.
Now who wouldn't watch that? And, if you're a fan, wouldn't you want to get hit by your favourite players? It's a win-win situation to say the least.
