Much like his form in the NBA Playoffs, Kevin Durant is absolutely on fire this offseason.
Whether it be his jokes on Twitter, his tour through his summer mansion or his jab at the Sixers, it's pretty clear that Durant is really, really enjoying himself after capturing his first NBA title. This week Durant's former Thunder teammates Andre Roberson and Dion Waiters signed huge free agent contracts. Roberson got 3-years, $30 million, while Waiters got 4-years, $52 million. Posting on his YouTube page yet again, Durant congratulated the two in humorous fashion, jokingly taking credit for getting his former teammates paid.
Quite clearly Durant was kidding, pointing towards just how hard Robinson and Waiters have worked to land those contracts. As for Durant referring to Waiters as his “first born,” you just know that the Heat guard is going to get clowned about that from this point onward. Especially when Durand and the Warriors face the Heat and play them off the court.
Summertime fun KD is the best KD.
