After seeing countless reminders in the form of posters, memes and t-shirts of the embarrassing 3-1 lead the Golden State Warriors blew last year, the team was ready to celebrate their redemption at the championship parade on Thursday.
Draymond Green remembered LeBron James wearing an “Ultimate Warrior” shirt during last season’s parade, and also a 3-1 tombstone at the Cavs’ Halloween party. To combat those, Green showed up wearing a pretty funny shirt, which is a play on the arena the Cavs play in.
What might be even better than the shirt is LeBron’s reply. If you come at the King, you best not miss.
Of course, Green’s team won the NBA championship, so he gets the last laugh, but we give LeBron full points for the comeback. We really weren’t expecting LeBron to respond on this one.
