If you grew up watching the Raptors, you may not be the biggest fan of Paul Pierce.
His division-rival Boston Celtics were the first to suddenly acquire a "Big 3" in this stretch run of powerhouse squads, and even after that, he was never very nice to the Raptors. In the two seasons before last, he hit several clutch shots against them in the playoffs, while playing for two different teams.
Still, those shots only make it harder to deny his greatness.
Draymond Green doesn't care. Maybe, like we do, he just hates all the farewell tour nonsense that is constantly going on in sports nowadays. Every year there seems to be a legend that goes around collecting gifts from teams he beat throughout his career (Mariano Rivera, Derek Jeter, Kobe Bryant, David Ortiz etc.).
Anyways, hearing the audio in this clip, it’s very clear Green doesn’t think Pierce deserves a farewell tour.

“Chasing that farewell tour, they don’t love you like that. You can’t get no farewell tour, they don’t love you like that... You thought you was Kobe?”
Just another example of the Warriors living up to their self-appointed “Super Villain” role.
