The cheers erupted as Drake made his way into the venue for the Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather press tour stop in Toronto on Wednesday night.
The video above shows Drake greeting Sam Watson, a member of Mayweather’s entourage, before heading inside the venue. However, this interaction doesn’t exactly mean that he’s backing Mayweather in this bout.
Ahead of the press conference on Wednesday, Drake met up with UFC president Dana White before the event got underway to welcome him to Toronto.
During the interaction with White, Drake mentions that he came to see “his guy do his thing”, referring to McGregor. Moments later, he got to meet the man known as “The Notorious” and McGregor was equally excited.
