Southern Florida is on everyone’s mind at the moment as Hurricane Irma comes through the state.
The Hurricane which was at one time a category five has started to hit Florida and in the days leading up to today, residents of the state have been preparing their homes for its arrival. Sports teams have been a big part of these stories in both Florida and Houston, as you see athletes like J.J. Watt offer massive support to victims of the hurricane in Houston.
Several Florida athletes have shared their thoughts about the status in Florida and of course there are plenty of fans in the area. One of the most popular teams in the area is the Miami Dolphins and they have a very dedicated group of fans – more dedicated than we even knew.
Their dedication is not necessarily to cheering on their team, but instead ripping on their division rival New York Jets.
The Jets lost to the Buffalo Bills today, and are predicted to be far and away the worst team in the NFL this season. Not only do they have the worst odds to win the Super Bowl this season, but they are not favoured to win a single game this season.
So, they’re not wrong…
