Devils unveil 35th anniversary patch to commemorate move to New Jersey

Hockey fans probably didn’t expect a franchise to do well in New Jersey during the early 1980’s, but it's now been 35 years and the team is still going strong.

With the NHL season 35 days away, the Devils unveiled the commemorative 35th anniversary patch they’ll be rocking this season on Saturday morning and it’s pretty sharp.

The patch will include an outline of the state of New Jersey, as well as the Devils logo and the years they’ve been a franchise.

They’re not the only team that’s unveiled a commemorative patch for the upcoming season. A few months ago the Dallas Stars unveiled the patch they’ll be rocking to commemorate their 25th anniversary in the NHL.
