Derrick Jones Jr. has been many people’s dark horse favourite to win the dunk contest this year, and Canadians might feel even stronger about that after seeing what’s in his locker.
In the pre-show for the NBA All-Star Skills competition, some of the competitors were being shown as they mentally prepared for the night, and TSN noticed something about what was in his locker. It looks like a Vince Carter-era Raptors jersey. Either that’s for inspiration or, more likely, it’s going to be a prop in one of his dunks.
