Athletes are human beings, so they’re going to get mad just like everyone else when things don’t exactly go their way. Earlier tonight, Odell Beckham Jr. lost it after the Giants’ loss to the Packers and punched a hole in the wall in the locker room. About a month and a half ago, Sixers big man Joel Embiid beat up a chair after he was told he wouldn’t be playing in overtime due to his minutes restriction.
On Sunday night, the trend continued as DeMarcus Cousins became the latest athlete to lose his mind on an object.
Cousins' reputation around the league certainly came into play on this call, because Embiid never received a foul from the league after his outburst on the sidelines which involved him kicking a chair. No chair is safe in the NBA.
