Jaromir Jagr is still truckin’.
The 45-year-old is coming off of a relatively strong 2016-17 season in which he scored 16 goals and 30 assists. Few teams have shown interest in bringing back the free agent, but there appears to be a new front-runner. According to Jeremy Rutherford, The St. Louis Blues have expressed interest in signing him.
As TSN That’s Hockey’s Gino Reda and Dave Poulin were preparing for tonight’s show, the latter shared a hilarious story about his and Jagr’s careers. Watch as he recalls playing against the Czech native more than two-and-half decades ago.
Insane!
Poulin, 58, enjoyed 14 years in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals. The age difference between the two is just thirteen years. Today, Jagr can say he’s played for all three of those teams plus five others.

If you needed any more perspective on how impressive Jagr’s health is at age 45, hopefully this provided it. Remember- Bob McKenzie’s number-one ranked NHL forward Connor McDavid isn’t even t1 years old.
Wow.
