The 2017 CFL season got underway in Montreal on Thursday night as the Alouettes hosted the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
After a scoreless opening quarter, the two teams came through with some offence in the second quarter. Each team ended up scoring their first touchdown of the new season, but it was the Alouettes who struck first courtesy of a 65-yard touchdown pass from Darian Durant to B.J. Cunningham.
The touchdown gave the Als the first lead of the game and of the 2017 season and earned him 6 of his 18.2 fantasy points on the night.
The lead didn't last very long as the Roughriders came back rather quickly to tie the game up at 7-7.
Saskatchewan went on to add a field goal before time expired in the first half to take a 10-7 lead into halftime.
