Over the past year, Sidney Crosby has accomplished more than some players accomplish over the course of their entire careers.
At the age of 29, there's really nothing left for Sid to accomplish, and his trophy collection proves that.
That said, there's no stopping him now and with each award and Cup Crosby wins, the greatest player of all-time argument gets that much more interesting.
There is one thing, though, that Crosby hasn't done over the course of his NHL career thus far and it's something he really wants to try before his career is over.
If you've got no idea what we're talking about, Sid grew up wanting to be a goalie and he'd love the opportunity to play goalie in the NHL.
Tuesday on The Dan Patrick Show, Crosby talked about wanting to be a goalie and the one player he'd want to face in a penalty shot scenario.
The 'Magic Man', Pavel Datsyuk is a wonderful choice. Even though he's not in the NHL anymore, he's still terrorizing goalies in the KHL with his silky smooth hands.
They should bring Datsyuk back for NHL All-Star weekend next year and put Crosby in net so hockey fans everywhere can get the matchup they deserve.
And for those thinking Sid would have no shot, we disagree.
